Iain Barnett joined Prospera Wealth Management in January 2025, bringing with him a deep-rooted passion for helping others succeed. With a degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Sheffield and a background in education, Iain spent several years as a secondary mathematics teacher, committed to opening doors and creating opportunities for his students.
His transition to start training as a financial adviser felt like a natural evolution—continuing his dedication to supporting others, but with a focus on their financial wellbeing. Iain is currently building on his academic foundations by working towards his Diploma in Financial Planning, applying the clarity, communication, and empathy developed in the classroom to his new profession.
Away from the desk, Iain is a keen rugby player and proudly captains the 2nd team at Sheffield Rugby Union Football Club.
